Accommodating

Today is a much better day than yesterday, as both David and I get used to this schedule. In this post, I have to give David a shout-out for constantly adjusting to my ever-changing hours. He always goes to bed at the same time, and wakes up as early as I do so we stay on the same internal clock.

This morning we both got up at 5:15am, and he procedeed to make an amazing breakfast. He made blueberry pancakes, fried eggs, and bacon. It was such a treat in the early hours, and I feel much happier with a full belly. Even when I have to wake up at 4am, he wakes up with me, makes me coffee and talks to me to help me wake up.

It's nice that I don't have to carry the burden alone. (we'll see how I feel next week waking up at 4am).

Why are you waking up at 4am? Please tell me you're finally a full-time reporter and they aren't jerking you around the schedule anymore. And HELLO, David. What a sweetheart! I hope Kris and I can get on a "similar" schedule. I say "similar" because I would never expect him to wake up at 2:30am like me.

Kristin. You and I both lucked out on the mate situation.

I'm pretty much a do-nothing bump on a log... and I'm lucky to have someone who loves me, watches my back and advises me at every turn.

I feel blessed, as I can tell you do.
