I think I'm allergic to being tired; my body goes into anaphylactic shock. I feel nauseous and get cold sweats. It's sorta amusing to me that I picked a career with early mornings. I woke up at 525am this morning, and recognized those familiar symptoms. I also get very cold easily when tired, and have to walk around with ALL the lights off, with David thinks is totally weird. The light hurts my eyes.
One time, when I worked the very early shift at my former radio station, I actually went to the bathroom and threw up several times. I wasn't sick. Just tired.
I know at some point my body will adjust to this new schedule, where I have to be to work at 7am. I guess I should feel lucky, since some people, such as Colleen, have to wake up at 2:30am every day. I think I'd rather die.

Morning sickness? Hmmmm......
Actually, you're probably right. A stress reaction for sure!
agreed. I'd quit if they moved me full-time to the mornings. can't and won't do it.
Totally with you on this. I FINALLY had a good night's sleep last night. For some reason-- both Friday and Saturday night I didn't sleep well. Honestly, I have one cat that is driving me crazy in her old age-- jumping on me in the middle of the night. She's gone round the bend, if you not what I mean. I think she's 149 in cat years and senility is here.
haha I got a cat for my birthday growing up that was psycho. It would scratch my hair in the middle of the night, go to the bathroom on everyone's bed, and couldn't land on its feet when tossed. My Mom had to find it a new owner, which was heartbreaking to me.
No doubt. There is no way I would do mornings, or even a job that started at 7am! I'm sorry you're tired!
I probably will die :) It's all a part of the game though. I had to work overnights, mornings and weekends... and sometimes a combo of all three in a 7-day period to make it to the sweet shift (10:30am o 7p). That's gone... I'm working the devil's shift... and my body malfunctions too. I get heart burn that's probably burning holes in my stomach, dark circles that look like black eyes, and constant hunger pains. Oh mornings...
