My son also has been a night owl since birth, and says, like a cat, he gets a surge of energy around 9 p.m. If he could design his schedule (he's 18), it would probably be 2 a.m. (to bed) and 10 a.m. (to rise). I'm an early morning person and go to the gym at the crack of dawn. That said, it is hard to get motivated for strenuous exercise that time of morning. Kristin, too bad you don't like hard rock! I listened to the new Metallica CD at the gym and felt I was on steroids, I had so much energy - LOL! Their song "The Day That Never Ends" is one of rock's all time greatest.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8604756439843084387.post-11492129415543220382008-10-29T05:10:00.000-07:002008-10-29T05:10:00.000-07:00Ha... you get used to it. 2am on the clock looks n...Ha... you get used to it. 2am on the clock looks normal now :)Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14019600232378827754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8604756439843084387.post-65912787830815894822008-10-28T14:00:00.000-07:002008-10-28T14:00:00.000-07:00The fog does seem to make things drag. I'm a night owl and have been since I was a little kid. When my grandmother from California would visit, she would let me stay up REALLY late with her and watch Johnny Carson. I LOVED that.

When I started working in broadcasting-- I ALWAYS went to work at 3pm and worked until after the 11 o'clock news. So, that's why my schedule now (writing) is so great for my productivity. I'm able to start writing about 1 or 2 in the afternoon-- and write straight through until Andy gets home at 8pm. Then we chat and have fun and I go up to the Library to watch my pundits and read my books. Andy and Watson-- "hit the hay" a bit early for my tastes. I'm up with Letterman and Ferguson and then Worldwide Exchange on CNBC. Bedtime. 2am.Dan-Eric Slocumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11312592609859387599noreply@blogger.com
